WOYWW - It's a Tray!!

Wednesday, 16 February 2011

This is my current workdesk - a tray!! All our dining room furniture - table included has been relegated to our sons room and our lounge furniture has been squeezed into the dining room. Why - because we are decorating the lounge. We've spent over a week filling and rubbing down cracked walls and what a boring job it is!! But it's the dust, it get's into every nook and cranny even though we've kept the doors shut.

I've been having a go at making my own backgrounds using stamps. I had masked off the area I wanted play with, but when I pulled off the masking tape, I pulled off some the card front as well, so I'm in the middle of rescuing it!!

Here's the rescued card :)

  1. Very nice tidy tray - my goodness I don't think I could work on that small an area - although when you look at my desk sometimes I have less than that space to work on -

  9. Ah hugely impressive that you're still crafting at all, let alone on a tray - do you have to balance it on your lap? Couldn't do that! The card is lovely - how often I have to rescue mistakes or problems and they don't come out this well. Gorgeous colours, and I love that you're stamping the backgrounds.

  14. Well done for still crafting despite the problems, or maybe because of them. Your tray is a little smaller than the space I craft in when we are away in the caravan - you have to ve very organised to do that, though.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice message. Losing the fireplace is not as upsetting as it might be, it had been quite badly damaged by a previous owner (40 years ago, the surface had gone and it had to be washed every couple of days to keep it looking reasonable) and really it did not fit into what we now want in this room.
