Cuttlebug Spot - Mothers Day again

Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Now don't get confused, it's not Mothers Day again here in the UK, but our friends in the US will be celebrating their Mothers Day on Sunday May 13th. Nilda has some lovely prizes for this challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot. Up for grabs are a $25 Michaels voucher and 2 Cricut Cartridges - Birthday Bash and Sophie. Please create a card/gift for your mum but if you've already celebrated Mothers Day then please make a card/gift for any occasion. The card must feature Cuttlebug/Cricut flowers (or other die-cut flowers). I combined two dies to make my felt flower, plus used some old alphabet rub-ons to decorate the pink cardstock.

Hi Jannie. Yes, I made the felt flower using the Scribble Flower and Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. There are so many great dies out there and they look great paired up together.

Felt Flower 3

Materials used - White card blank, Black and pink cardstock, Cricut plus Plantin Schoolbook, Cuttlebug plus Scribble Flower and Tim Holtz Tattered Florals dies, Fiskars Bracket border punch, Kaisercraft Script and Birthday stamps, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, White embossing powder, Scrap rub-ons, Felt, Ribbon and Button.
