Cuttlebug Mania – Easter Egg

Wednesday, 16 April 2014

Myself and Jannie started Cuttlebug Mania together just over a year ago. We have been so pleased on how it’s gone with so many amazing entries and followers. But after an amazing time, I have decided to step down, as myself and my husband will be starting a new life in France. I want to thank Jannie for sharing the experience with me and I wish her well with Cuttlebug Mania in the future.
So for my last challenge it’s an Easter theme. There are so many images that come to mind when we think of Easter, the Easter bunny, chocolate, the cross, chocolate, cute little chicks, more chocolate and of course the Easter egg. So pop on over to Cuttlebug Mania and create for us an Easter project which must feature an egg.

Cuttlebug Mania – Make us Smile

Tuesday, 1 April 2014

At Cuttlebug Mania we’d like you to make a funny project, to make a joke, perhaps for April Fool, a prank, but most of all to put a smile on someone's face. I went for the smile and created this fun Anniversary card with a play on words. Not happy though as when I ran my embossing folder through my Cuttlebug it snapped off the corner. Thankfully it was only a small piece but still annoying!!

Materials used – Square scallop card blank, White, green and red cardstock, Cuttlebug plus Couture Creations Celebrate embossing folder, Provocraft Fruit and Tags die and Provocraft Spring Floral die, Miserably Loose font, Small heart punch, Stampin Up Scallop border punch and Wink of Stella pen.

Cuttlebug Mania - Let’s go Dotty

Tuesday, 18 March 2014

Dots have to be one of the most popular patterns in card making. You can see them everywhere, on paper, embossing folders, ribbons, stamps and more. I’ve used the very popular Swiss Dots (what would we do without it) embossing folder on my card plus some dotty scraps of paper that came free with a magazine. I’ve also popped a dot in the centre of my flower. We’d like you to get Dotty at Cuttlebug Mania and show us how you’ve used your dots.

Materials used – Black, white and pink cardstock, Cuttlebug plus Swiss Dots embossing folder, Olivia alphabet dies and XCut Smoothie alphabet dies, Scrap dotty paper, Stampin Up scallop border punch, Half Pearl and Wink of Stella clear pen.

Cuttlebug Mania – Something for Mum

Mothers Day is here in the UK on March 30th and the DT team at Cuttlebug Mania have been given some beautiful digi images from Stitchy Bear Stamps to work with for this special day. I loved this lady sitting elegantly with her cup of tea – Earl Grey of course. Their website is full of beautiful images to colour or paper piece plus they are offering 3 digi stamps to our Something for Mum winner. So lets see your projects for your mum or another special lady.
