Cuttlebug Spot - Tree

Tuesday, 25 December 2012

Christmas is nearly upon us and here is my project for the Cuttlebug Spot this week. I’ve made this cute little Christmas Tree using a heart die and papers from My Mind’s Eye, but you could use any scraps of paper for this card. I’ve made all my cards for this year, but I’ll be making a load of these for next year. They are also ideal for posting as there are nice and flat.

This is our last project for a couple of weeks but we’ll see you again in the New Year. Have a great Christmas everyone.

Materials used – White card blank, Brown cardstock, Cuttlebug plus a heart die and Quickutz Polka Dots embossing folder, Cricut plus Walk in my Garden, My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found Christmas paper pad, Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes, Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and Stickles.

Cuttlebug Spot – Christmas Tags

Tuesday, 18 December 2012

I cannot believe it’s less than 2 weeks until Christmas. I’ve done most of my wrapping up, the cards are posted and the tree is decorated. I just have to face the crowds when I buy my food. I have my family coming over on Christmas Day and I’m really looking forward to that.

This weeks challenge over at the Cuttlebug Spot is Tags. You can make tags for any occasion, but as it’s Christmas it just had to be Christmas Tags. I’ve used 2 different embossing folders on them and some toppers I had lying around. I’m determined to use up some of my stash this coming year.

Cuttlebug Spot – Christmas Banner

Tuesday, 11 December 2012

For years I’ve been putting up some really bad pretend plastic tinsel over my mirror, but this year I decided to make a Christmas banner. I was really pleased how it turned out. I used the Cricut Cartridge Winter frolic for the Reindeer, Tree etc and some dangly snowflakes. Pop on over to The Cuttlebug Spot to see what our talented ladies have made for this weeks Banner challenge.
