Cuttlebug Mania - One for Mum

Tuesday, 30 April 2013

This week we would like you to create a card/project for your Mum. It could be for a birthday, Mother Day is coming up in the USA soon or it could be just to say Thank You. I have had this embossing folder for ages and never used it. I wanted to ink it and run it through my Cuttlebug, but I did it the wrong way round by accident. I really liked how it looked so I kept it that way.

We’d love you see what you create, so please add your project at Cuttlebug Mania and you could be in to win this fantastic prize. Craftsite has kindly donated this lovely Spellbinders Butterfly die for our winner.

Cuttlebug Mania – Colour challenge

Tuesday, 23 April 2013

I’ve used a border embossing folder again this week for our colour challenge at Cuttlebug Mania from the Just my Type set. Our chosen colours are Purple and Green. Paper piecing is a great way to use scraps and they look great on the Sew Stylish set from Hero Arts. Pop on over and see what the design team have made.

Cuttlebug Mania – I’m Feeling Sentimental

Tuesday, 16 April 2013

I’m blogging from France this week as I’m on holiday with my lovely husband.

Sentiments Only (no images allowed) are our challenge for this week at Cuttlebug Mania and I’ve taken my sentiment from the Happy Birthday Embossing folder. I embossed just parts of the folder onto scarps of coloured cardstock and then stuck them on. Very simple but bright and cheerful.

Our sponsor this week is Lots of Buttons who are giving us a $25 voucher for the winner. Take a look at their website as they have the most gorgeous buttons to choose from.

Materials used – Square card blank, Assorted coloured card stock, Cuttlebug plus Happy Birthday embossing folder and Half pearls.

At Cuttlebug Mania this week we’d like you to feature this lovely image (see below) along with a fun-fold card - Mountain, Valley, Side-Step, Easel -get the idea? I found this tutorial for an Upright Z-Fold card at Little Claire Designs but there are loads of tutorials out there or perhaps you have invented something new.
